Denver, May 22, 2008 — Expanding its portfolio of municipal services projects, CH2M HILL OMI has been selected by Bonita Springs, Fla., as the city’s partner for delivering community development services.

Beginning July 1, CH2M HILL OMI will manage a range of community development responsibilities, including planning, zoning, building permits and inspection services. The five-year contract — with a base contract amount of $1.58 million in the first year — was unanimously approved by City Council on May 21.

Led by Beverly Tew, the community development department will help residents, builders and developers with building permits, rezoning applications and many other related items.
